AstroNakshatraPath ("we", "us") is operated from Seraikela Kharsawan, Jharkhand, India. This page explains what we collect when you use astronakshatrapath.com, why, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

• Account details — email address and password (stored and hashed by our authentication provider, Supabase; we never see your plaintext password).
• Birth details — date, time, and place of birth. This is the core input for every chart, report, and Dosha check on the site. Place of birth is converted to coordinates via a geocoding lookup so we can calculate your chart accurately.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Razorpay, our payment gateway. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and an order/transaction reference; we do not receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
• Usage data — standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) generated by our hosting providers for security and reliability, not for tracking or advertising.
• AI chat messages — questions you ask Astro Gannu AI, our AI Vedic astrologer, and the chart context needed to answer them, are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response.

Why we collect it

• To calculate your birth chart, Panchang, Dosha checks, and reports using Swiss Ephemeris.
• To generate AI-written interpretations of your chart, on request.
• To create, deliver, and let you re-download paid PDF reports.
• To process payments and prevent fraud.
• To provide account access and customer support.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your birth details or chat messages for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers required to run the site:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Anthropic — powers Astro Gannu AI's chart interpretations.
• Vercel / Render — application hosting.

Each is bound by its own data-processing terms. We do not share your birth details, chat history, or account information with anyone else, and never for marketing purposes.

Kundli Matching (two people's data)

When you use Kundli Matching, you provide birth details for a second person. Please only submit someone else's details with their knowledge and consent — the same handling described above applies to that data.

How long we keep it

Account and birth details are kept for as long as your account exists, so your chart and reports remain accessible. Generated PDF reports are retained so you can re-download past purchases. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

Your rights

• Access or export the birth details and account data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate birth details directly from your account.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.

To exercise any of these, email astronakshatrapath@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and note that some payment records may need to be retained longer to meet accounting and tax obligations.

Cookies

We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Children

AstroNakshatraPath is not directed at children under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
